Owen Wilson makes first public appearance for “Darjeeling Limited”

Owen Wilson was out in public for the first time since his attempted suicide for the L.A. premiere of “The Darjeeling Limited”.
Wilson made an appearance on stage with co-stars stars Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman. When director Wes Anderson took the stage he said (in reference to Wilson), “I’ve never made a movie without him and I hope I never have to.”

Let me see if I understand this “suicide” attempt clearly: Owen Wilson is at the top of his game, has enough money to retire and live comfortably the rest of his life, works in more movies than just about anyone in Hollywood right now, has the world’s most beautiful women taking numbers to be with him, lives in a beautiful mansion, enjoys fame, celebrity, and a totally great life….and supposedly needs to commit suicide? Sorry but I do not get it.
I got up at 4:15 a.m. for most of my adult work life, fought nightmarish traffic twice a day, lived in a supposedly decent neighborhood where I got burglarized, struggled and had to self-motivate each and every day to keep going, and I got through it all quite nicely to retirement.
Am I the only one who thinks this way or do people actually belive a guy like this, who has it all, actually tries to snuff himself? Too much success, fame, money, women, great cars, great homes, a loving family, still have both my parents, brothers who love me, and on and on? Yeah, right.
I think this whole “suicide” thing is a publicity stunt (note moving from suicide attempt to public exposure very, very quickly…”I’m back!!!”), because what people in Owen Wilson’s position do is thank their lucky stares each and every day of their great lives, not commit suicide!t
Wilson tries to commit suicide? He must really be nuts!
