CNN Headliner Nancy Grace and her husband, investment banker David Linch, are the proud parents of twins - a boy and a girl - born Sunday, two months earlier than expected. 

Grace and Linch, who were married in April, welcomed the twins, Lucy Elizabeth and John David two months early after Grace developed pulmonary edema during her pregnancy and her physician thought it best to deliver early. 

John David weighed in at 5 pounds, 1 ounce, while Lucy Elizabeth weighed 2 pounds, 15 ounces. 

Linch told People Magazine:

“The babies are doing fine. Our little girl is doing just as well as her brother despite her weight – and mom is doing great.”

Grace was scheduled to give birth in January.
