Kanye West and Amy Winehouse have taken the lead in the nominations for the 50th Annual Grammy Awards. West’s “Graduation” is nominated for both Album Of The Year and Rap Album Of The Year, while ”Can’t Tell Me Nothing” and “Good Life” have both been nominated for Best Rap Song.

Winehouse’s “Back To Black” has been nominated for the Album Of The Year and her hit single “Rehab” is up for both Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year.

Rock icon Paul McCartney has been recently spotted with actress Rosanna Arquette on more than one occasion in London, which has got tongues wagging that the pair may be dating on the down low.

McCartney, who is smack dab in the middle of an ugly divorce battle with his estranged wife Heather Mills, was linked to New York businesswoman Nancy Shevell just a few weeks ago.  I guess it’s over before things really ever got started, eh?

According to Britain’s juicy tabloid, News of the World, McCartney was more recently seen strolling the grounds of a stately home with the thrice-divorced Arquette and she’s also been seen at McCartney’s house.

Asked about reports linking McCartney and Arquette, Shevell told the New York Daily News:

“I’m sorry, I don’t want to talk about it,” then turned around and went back inside her New York apartment building.

When she emerged again later, she told reporters who were hanging out by her door:

“I’m sorry I have nothing to say, but it’s OK, you’re not bothering me.”

Heather Mills’ lawyers are no longer representing her in her divorce battle against Paul McCartney. After parting ways with her attorneys, Mishcon de Reya, Mills will now have to represent herself or find another team of lawyers to do it for her.  

According to the Times of London, the situation eludes to the suggestion that perhaps the McCartney/Mills divorce will likely go to trial and if so, a trial date has been set for February.

Mills made international headlines recently when she violated a gag order, went on television in both England and the United States and railed against the way McCartney and the media have been treating her.  After she breached the gag order, her attorney team walked off the job and straight out the door. 

A spokesman for Mishcon has confirmed that the firm is no longer representing Mills, but hasn’t explained why or who had made the decision.

Recent pictures that show Paul McCartney kissing Nancy Shevell have got tongues wagging from The Hamptons to Los Angeles with speculation that perhaps McCartney has found himself a new girlfriend - even though he’s still locked in that bitter divorce feud with crazy gold-digger, Heather Mills.

The pictures, which surfaced earlier this week (both in Britain and New York papers), show Sir Paul and Shevell lip-locking in a vehicle, taking a stroll on a beach and chatting it up outside in the Hamptons, where conveniently, both Shevell and McCartney own homes. 

A source however, insists that McCarney is not dating, nor does he have a new gal pal on his arm. 

“They have known each other for a while. They are just friends.” 

Heather on the other hand, seems either to be much less worried about the relationship than the media - or McCartney - or she’s seething that she’s perhaps the last to know, depending of course, on who you want to believe. 

She told Extra: 

“Paul is a free man and can do what he wants.” 

However, according to the New York Post:

Heather Mills is seething with rage over her soon-to-be-ex-hubby’s lip-locking love affair with a wealthy Hamptons socialite.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” Mills allegedly shouted at the beloved Beatle during a phone call she made after spying paparazzi pictures of him spending last weekend romantically paling around with their old family friend, Nancy Shevell.

Shevell, 47, is the vice president of New England Motor Freight Inc., and is currently separated from her husband, Bruce Blakeman.  The couple have been married for 23 years and have one child.
