In case you missed it, actress Jessica Alba announced earlier today that she’s pregnant. According to her rep, she and baby daddy Cash Warren will be parents sometime in late spring or early summer.
The couple have been dating since 2004 after they met on the set of “Fantastic Four,” and even though the couple had a cooling off period earlier this year, it looks like they managed to hook up for at least a little while.
Alba’s rep., Brad Cafarelli says: “I confirm that Jessica and Cash are expecting a baby in late spring, early summer.”
At least she’s not making us play the guessing game like Jennifer Lopez or Christina Aguilera did, which shows Alba has some smarts and knows she may has well spill the beans now because we’re all going to know soon enough, anyway.
Contrats to both – and move over Shiloh – this is going to be the cutest baby ever!

A rep for Amy Winehouse says that despite the pop star’s recent setbacks, she’s determined to attend the upcoming Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, where she’s been nominated for a whopping six awards.
According to a Winehouse spokesperson [via People.com]:
“Amy is thrilled to be nominated for six Grammys and is very much hoping to attend. She is determined to be ready and well for that performance.”
In the meantime, Amy’s mother Janis has written an open letter to her daughter and had it published in the News of the World newspaper, begging her daughter to seek help before it’s too late.
“This letter is my way of making sure that you know that all you have to do is come to us, Amy, and we’ll do everything in our power to get you well again. After all, you are still my baby and you always will be.”
Winehouse and her mother are said to be speaking to one another, however the letter was a push to get the troubled singer going in the right direction and hopefully persuade the singer to go home and get help.
Janis Winehouse continued:
“We want to help you, but we know that unless you want to be helped - unless you come to us - anything we tried would be in vain. Remember: you’re just an ordinary human being, no stronger than any of the rest of us.”
People magazine also recently reported that Winehouse is currently in a program and under a doctor’s supervision.
Jennifer Lopez has further fuelled speculation that she and husband Marc Anthony may be the parents of twins when Lopez was seen buying matching outfits in both pink and blue. Spies say the 38-year-old singer asked for monogrammed baby items from a top Los Angeles boutique, in colors pink and blue, with the word “Prince” on the blue apparel and “Princess” on the pink.
Lopez reportedly registered for the gifts at tot shop to the stars, trendy Petit Tresor and spies say she also requested two Moses baskets, teddy bears with blue and pink ribbons and a jogging stroller built for two – babies, that is.
Actress Shirley MacLaine says the problem with Lindsay Lohan is simply her addiction to fame and perhaps even a lack in parenting skills, via Lindsay’s mom, Dina, of course.
Shoot. I was hoping she’d mention something we didn’t already know.
Reportedly, MacLaine and Lohan were scheduled to star in the film, ”Poor Things,” but production was stalled after Lindsay checked into rehab to kick her addiction to drug and booze, but MacLaine may think otherwise:
“I don’t know what’s going on, maybe lack of parenting skills and no boundaries. I think the addiction to fame is a disease. Some of these girls are addicted to having their picture in magazines.”
Victoria Beckham says there’s no truth to the recent rumors flying around that she’s pregnant with her fourth child, even though rumors persisted as she and the Spice Girls reunited for their worldwide tour earlier this month.
Beckham insists that there’s no baby yet, but revealed that she’d love to have a daughter – someday:
“The rumours are not true. I’m not pregnant. I keep getting asked, am I pregnant? I’m not pregnant. Hopefully I will be blessed enough to have more children at some point. I would love a little girl.”

Charlize Theron’s home, which is located in Hollywood Hills, was broken into over the weekend. Police have confirmed the incident and are currently investigating the break-in, which they believe happened sometime between Thursday and Saturday. Currently, police have no suspects and are not releasing whether any property was taken in the burglary.
Theron’s neighbors have so far reported to police they didn’t see or hear anything unusual and didn’t report any suspicious people on or near the property.
A media relations officer for the LAPD told E! News:
“We have been able to confirm we are in fact handling an investigation that happened at her home. The home was secured on the 6th, and it was discovered it was broken into on the 8th. There were no suspects seen by any of the neighbors. The property that was taken, if any, is unknown at this time.”
On Monday, actor Will Smith was honored with a hand and footprint ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. I love these pictures of Will Smith – they show exactly why he’s one of my favorite actors. He’s got personality, energy and a mega-watt smile you can see from space. Not only that, but he’s a great actor, too.
Too bad Tom Cruise had to show up and ruin everything. Is it just me or are Tom, Katie and Suri all sporting the same haircuts these days?
According to the Associated Press, toxicology tests have confirmed that Quiet Riot lead singer Kevin DuBrow died of an accidental cocaine overdose.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office released the official autopsy report on Monday.
The 52-year-old DuBrow was found dead in his home in Las Vegas on November 25th. At the time, police said they did not suspect foul play and there was no sign of forced entry to the home.
Former American Idol wannabe, Jessica Sierra, has been booted from a lineup which included a performance at a musical event honoring U.S. troops in Washington on Friday after news broke that she just can’t seem to stay out of trouble.
E! News reports that the 22-year-old, who is still being held at a jail in Tampa, Florida until her next hearing on December 20th, after allegedly going on a drunken rampage at a nightclub earlier this month, has been uninvited to the event.
Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Buzz Patterson said in a statement:
“While we appreciate Ms. Sierra’s past efforts to support U.S. troops, including performing for them in Iraq on Independence Day, it is quite obvious Ms. Sierra needs to devote a great deal of time to putting her life back together.”
It’s not like she could have attended the event anyway because she’s obviously locked up until at least the 20th, so I wouldn’t go as far as to say Sierra was actually “uninvited” – more like she just has “other commitments.” Isn’t that what most good attorney’s and PR people say?
I don’t think it matters much though really, in the grand scheme of things, anyway – because Jessica will be back – at least on video since rumors are flying that there’s a smarmy sex-tape in our midst. Besides, she’s also got that new VH-1 reality show, “Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew,” next year.
Trust me, Sierra wont wont be going away any time soon.
