Matt Damon has topped People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” - an honor previously bestowed upon Damon’s pals George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

Damon told People:

“You’ve given an aging suburban dad the ego-boost of a lifetime.” 

The 32-year-old star of “The Departed,” “Syriana,” “Good Will Hunting,” “Dogma” and the “Bourne” and “Ocean’s” trilogies, has joked for years about his campaign to win the coveted title, while Brad Pitt and George Clooney have told the press that they think he deserved the honor.

Angelina Jolie says her brood wont be seeing her new animated film, “Beowulf” (Jolie’s character is a sexy beast – literally!) any time soon.

Angelina revealed to People that portraying her character, painted gold and animated without clothing, didn’t expect to feel so real:

“I think it’s too much. I don’t think they should see their mom that way. I don’t wear nightgowns like that in the house. I’ve got boys in my house. You don’t do that as a mom. But when they’re older, hopefully, they’ll see it. It’s weird, I’m a mom.”

The PG-13-rated “Beowulf,” which is based on the Old English epic poem, opens November 16th.
