In the latest issue of Details Magazine, Ben Affleck attributes some of his recent career struggles to his relationship with J-Lo and a few “movies that didn’t work”.

I have to agree with both counts there. The J-Lo thing, while fun for tabloids, was really over-blown, and a complete mess. I think people got so sick of seeing the two, that both of them have suffered for it. Plus, he made a few movie that really blew.

I’m a big Affleck fan. I can’t help it. I want the guy to do well, and the trailer for Gone, Baby Gone looks amazing (see it below). I hope it does well…especially since Ben’s decided that it’s the “linchpin” of his life…
