If it wasn’t enough that almost every fertile celebrity vagina was occupied for the past two calendar years, now a few celebs seem to have escalated bragging rights. Jennifer Lopez just checked in to her boutique… I mean hospital room to have her twins. And Jessica Alba is said to be having twins. Angelina Jolie is either having twins or triplets, as well as adopting yet another child with Brad Pitt.
But Minnie Driver, who still hasn’t named the father, is only expecting a girl – just one. Britney Spears might also be pregnant again. Tara Reid is not pregnant, but some woman claims to have bought a box of items at an auction that include pictures of Reid as a baby. She says that there are also letters to Reid from her now-deceased maternal grandmother.
In case you missed it, actress Jessica Alba announced earlier today that she’s pregnant. According to her rep, she and baby daddy Cash Warren will be parents sometime in late spring or early summer.
The couple have been dating since 2004 after they met on the set of “Fantastic Four,” and even though the couple had a cooling off period earlier this year, it looks like they managed to hook up for at least a little while.
Alba’s rep., Brad Cafarelli says: “I confirm that Jessica and Cash are expecting a baby in late spring, early summer.”
At least she’s not making us play the guessing game like Jennifer Lopez or Christina Aguilera did, which shows Alba has some smarts and knows she may has well spill the beans now because we’re all going to know soon enough, anyway.
Contrats to both – and move over Shiloh – this is going to be the cutest baby ever!

Jennifer Lopez has further fuelled speculation that she and husband Marc Anthony may be the parents of twins when Lopez was seen buying matching outfits in both pink and blue. Spies say the 38-year-old singer asked for monogrammed baby items from a top Los Angeles boutique, in colors pink and blue, with the word “Prince” on the blue apparel and “Princess” on the pink.
Lopez reportedly registered for the gifts at tot shop to the stars, trendy Petit Tresor and spies say she also requested two Moses baskets, teddy bears with blue and pink ribbons and a jogging stroller built for two – babies, that is.
In Touch Weekly seems to be standing by the claim that Spears e-mailed friends on November 14th, claiming to be four weeks pregnant with Rotem’s child. Somewhere in the mix, In Touch also claimed Rotem confirmed that Spears is expecting. Jumping into the fray, Star magazine also cited multiple sources who said Miss Brit is pregnant with her third child.
But Spears’ friend, Sam Lufti, sent a text message to Ryan Seacrest, which Seacrest took the opprtunity to read on air during his KIIS-FM Los Angeles radio show Wednesday.
Said Lufti (via Seacrest):
“It’s BS. Don’t know who made it up. J.R. doesn’t even know what’s up. It’s fake. Completely fake. We just wrapped her video. Going home to sleep.”
Mom-to-be, Nicole Richie, who is eight months pregnant, says her impending motherhood inspired her to reconnect with her biological parents. She told Access Hollywood that although it wasn’t an overnight decision, she wanted to heal any wounds before she became a mom herself.
“When I found out that I was pregnant, there was just something inside of me that felt a responsibility to mend any issues that I’ve had with my parents in the past, because, listen, I have put them through a lot.”
Richie also said her adoptive father, singer Lionel Richie, is thrilled about becoming a grandfather to her first child with boyfriend Joel Madden.
“It’s all he talks about, actually. Of course, a father’s first reaction, he was quiet and didn’t really know what to think and I just said, ‘OK, so that’s the news, so call me tomorrow,’ because I like to give him a day whenever I give him news. He called me the next day and he was so excited and now he just doesn’t stop. He has all these names that he’s ready for the baby to call him, in substitute of ‘grandpa,’ because he doesn’t like ‘grandpa.’”
The Grammy-winning R&B singer and his wife, Tameka Foster, welcomed a bouncing baby boy on Monday. The child is Usher’s first and Foster’s fourth.
The couple said in a statement issued to the press:
“We are so happy and proud of our beautiful son. What a blessing!”
The wee one has been named Usher Raymond V and weighed in at 7 lbs. 9 oz. in Atlanta.
The couple wed in a large, glitzy ceremony in early September after exchanging vows a few weeks earlier in a civil cememony. They had called off their July 28th wedding amid reports that Foster had checked into a hospital because of problems with her pregnancy.
A private ceremony was held on August 3rd in the office of Usher’s attorney. The couple announced their engagement earlier in the year and later said Foster was expecting a child.
Milla Jovovich and fiance Paul Anderson are the proud parents of a healthy baby girl, whose been named Ever Gabo Anderson.
The little Miss was born on Saturday at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The couple met in 2002 when Anderson directed Jovovich in the first “Resident Evil” film, which would spawn the trilogy. The couple went on to collaborate in ”Resident Evil: Apocalypse” (2004) and the most recent, “Resident Evil: Extinction,” which was released in September.
The couple have been engaged since March 2003, but have yet to walk down the aisle. Jovovich was previously married to her “Dazed and Confused” (1993) co-star Shawn Andrews (who played on-screen boyfriend Pickford). The young lovers eloped, but the marriage was annulled by her mother two months later. At the time, Jovovich was 16 and Andrews, 21.
In 1997, Jovovich married ”The Fifth Element” director Luc Besson, however, the couple divorced just two years later.
Grace and Linch, who were married in April, welcomed the twins, Lucy Elizabeth and John David two months early after Grace developed pulmonary edema during her pregnancy and her physician thought it best to deliver early.
John David weighed in at 5 pounds, 1 ounce, while Lucy Elizabeth weighed 2 pounds, 15 ounces.
